We drove down to my MIL Allison's house for her church's Trunk-or-Treat this past weekend. The girls went happily, as did the boys once they were told that there would be a trip to The Haunted Forest after the church function. Unfortunately by the time we got to the forest the wait was about 2 hours long and it was already almost 10 pm and we had a 1.5 hour drive home that night. Oops. Next time!
So the girls were all dressed up and happy. This time Abigail was The Black Swan with a twist. The twist was the striped leggings, but people didn't get that. Haley was a baker.
There were games and face painting. Abigail got a spider web painted on and changed her costume to a Spider Queen.
Haley had a small cupcake painted on to match her costume.
Then she won a cake walk and ate a small cupcake that matched her costume.
There was a set up for pictures and the boys indulged me and had a picture taken in their "lumberjack" costumes. At least they tried.
Lewis' mom was in charge of the event so once the Trunk-or-Treating started he decided to play a little prank on her. Lewis and Jason ran to the store and bought a can of whip cream and pied his mom! It was so funny! I just happen to have the camera there when it happened so we got a couple of fun pictures!!

We were all disappointed about the Haunted Forest but I think most of us had a good time anyway. (Jason was very glad that the forest was canceled, he really did not want to go!!)
